Tree art at 1909 Franwall Ave (Wheaton MD)

Back story

A 36" dbh (diameter at breast height) pine tree, that despite its suburban magnificence, was deemed risky. Evidence of rot, and too close to the house. In January 2025 it was removed.

But, we retained 14 feet of stump, including two large branches. This stump is the tableau for the tree art! And Jason Swain is the chain saw artist!
